I’m a publisher, editor, and writer working at the confluence of culture change and climate justice. In collaboration with Kailea Loften, I’m the author of the Indie Bestseller Compassion in Crisis: Building Disaster-Resilient Communities. I’m also an Editor for Counterstream, a nonprofit media organization that documents how frontline communities are building power, as well as the founder of Loam Library, a mobile library and reading room.
My work is rooted in environmental art, social practice, and community herbalism. I’m a 2025 Strange Foundation Resident, a 2024 North Coast Project participant, a 2023 Editorial Fellow at the Center for Humans & Nature, a 2021 Artist/Activist-in-Residence at Boulder Public Library, and a 2018 Spiritual Ecology Fellow.
Print is my passion. For the past 12 years, I have stewarded Loam, a community project that publishes books and magazines on mutual aid, ecological regeneration and collective resilience. And in the coming months, I’ll be launching Erratic Weather, a print newsletter for archiving both climate change and everyday enchantment.
